The route can be further extended to the Annapurna Base Camp. The amazing journey of this sunrise viewpoint then route towards the beautiful model Gurung Village Ghandruk and the prolific scenes of the mountains, hills and observation of the ethnic culture of the Gurung people are added bonus. Since it is the last day of your Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekkingevening would be fun filled and oriented towards experiencing great Himalayan traditions and culture. The trekking routes back by descending to Nayapool for bus ride to Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel When you arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), our airport representative will greet you and complete the formalities (Visa, etc), you need to confirm for our agent with a display board at the entrance gate. You will then transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you will join a welcome dinner at a first rate traditional Nepalese restaurant where we get pleasure from a Nepalese cultural program and enjoy fine meal. Overnight in Kathmandu.


Day 02: Fly or drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu As per your choice you can either take a flight or drive taking Tourists’ bus or car from Kathmandu to reach Pokhara. In the beautiful city Pokhara, we will go to visit -Phewa Lake, Devi’s fall, Begnash Lake, Seti gorge, Mahendra Cave etc. In the evening, you can go for shopping or just relax. Tonight in Pokhara.


Day 03: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1491m) Today you will drive to Nayapul from where our trekking starts. The drive takes around 1 and 5 hours to arrive at Nayapul (42km. Then, the path ascends all the way through the stunning maze, rice and millet farms. Walking next to the main track of Birethanti we will also pass small waterfall. The track takes us to Sudami and after that we gradually walk from the side of vale you reach Hile and after around half an hour you arrive at Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.


Day 04: Tikhedhunga – Ghorepani (2800m.) Today, the track goes vertical up for about 1 and half hour through pebbly steps where the track leads all the way through cultivated pastures and remaining trail goes inside flowering rhododendron and oak forest. Eventually, we will move up to Nangethanti. After having our lunch we go up to Ghorepani at 2850m. Then after arrive at the summit of the Ghorepani pass and set our camp there. Overnight in Ghorepani.


Day 05: Ghorepani – Poon hill – Tadapani /Ghandrung (1940m). This is the most significant day of our trek. We begin our trip climbing to Poon Hill (3210m) which bestows grand panorama of sunrise above the high peaks. Lot of snow-topped mountain can be seen from here counting Dhaulagiri (8167m), Fishtail (6993m), Annapurna South (7119m), Nilgiri south, Annapurna I (8091m), Singa chuli and many more mountains. We then move down to Ghorepani and walk to Ghandruk for around 6/7 hours. Ghandruk is one of the stirring villages, the dwelling area of Gurung people. The track mainly passes all the way through forest and goes moderately down. Overnight at Ghandruk.


Day 06: Trek to Kimche; Drive to Pokhara We will take a downhill trek to Kimche for about 45 minutes. We will take a local or private vehicle to Pokhara which is about 3 hours. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara


Day 07: Pokhara to Kathmandu (6/7 hours driving by tourist bus) and then overnight at hotel. Early in the morning, we will leave Pokhara then drive back to Kathmandu taking around 7 hours. After arriving in Kathmandu, we will return to the hotel. You will have a farewell dinner at hotel. This will be your last night in Kathmandu.
