Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu When you arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), our airport representative will greet you and complete the formalities (Visa, etc), you need to confirm for our agent with a display board at the entrance gate. You will then transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you will join a welcome dinner at a first rate traditional Nepalese restaurant where we get pleasure from a Nepalese cultural program and enjoy fine meal. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu After having breakfast you will go for sightseeing all around Kathmandu Valley. You will visit Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. All these are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage list. In the evening you will meet with Nepal Hiking Himalayas’ trekking guide who will help you for trekking preparation. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1467m) We will leave Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1467 m.) all the way through Trishuli (Nuwakot) takes approximately 8 hours to arrive at Syabrubesi passing through Dhunche. While passing all along the road beside Trishuli River you hold a sight of Ganesh Himal. Overnight in Syabrubesi.
Day 04: Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2238m) We today trek for around 6 hours today from Syabrubesi to Gatlang that lies at an altitude of 2238m passing all the way through Goljung where you will view the Tamang traditions. You can see scenery from view spot. The cultural performance at Gatlang and Goljung makes your trip a memorable one. Gatlang, soaring on a hillside amongst terraced pastures is a Tamang settlement. One can go around a Tamang monastery and striking Parvatikunda Lake at Gatlang.
Day 05: Gatlang to Somdang (3500m.) We trek for around 5 hours all along the road to arrive at Somdang leaving Gatlang. The striking beauty when traveling the area are Langtang Himal ranges, Paldor peak, Ganesh Himal and many other nameless peaks. Also, we will pass some Tamang settlements where we can see their culture and tradition. Overnight at Somdang.
Day 06: Somdang to Pansang Bhanjyang We will trek from Somdang traversing through Paldor Bhanjyang at an elevation of 3850m and arrive at Pansang Bhanjyang (3850m.) taking about 7 hours. You will stroll all along the path moving through displaying striking scenery of villages, green hills, forests and terraces. Overnight at Pansang Bhanjyang.
Day 07: Pangsang Bhanjyang to Chalise We will walk for around seven hours from Pangsang Bhanjyang then move to Chalise. We will walk down to go behind the trail and then ascend up for some time. En route, you traverse bamboo forests, rhododendron, pine and beautiful waterfalls. We come transversely the first community of the route named Tipling, a big Tamang village which is rich in diverse culture and has church. After that, you have to walk down abruptly until you go across a suspension bridge above Gorkhen River. Then, the way goes up to Sertung Chalise, a Gurung community. Overnight at Chalise.
Day 08: Chalise to Hindung We will head off from Chalise to reach Hindung today. We will have to walk for about 5 hours and our trail goes down to Menchet River at first and traverse this stream, the route then moves steep up and then gradually reaches Hindung, a big settlement mostly occupied by Tamang. We will pass via Tamang villages, farming terraces, small forests and green hills. From here Ganesh Himal Base Camp can be noticed is that it is the final village you will pass through today.
Day 09: Hindung to Rajgang Kharka Today we enter at Rajgang Kharka leaving Hindung. After passing from Hindung you will rarely find terraces. The trail up to Rajgang Kharka moves up and sometimes flat as well. We stroll all along the track enclosed with woods of rhododendron and it is home for a variety of species of birds and wild lives. Rajgang Kharka is surrounded by striking forests and lowland. Overnight at Rajgang Kharka.
Day 10: Rajgang Kharka to Kalo Seto Kunda To arrive at Kalo Seto Kunda, it takes around 6 hours from Rajgang Kharka. The trail is thin and goes about generally uphill and plain lane someplace. And, you will come across alpine lawn here due to towering elevation. At Kalo Seto Kunda, we can find two lakes of sacred connotation. The flat of Kalo or Black Lake is enclosed with black stones whilst the surface of Seto Kunda which is covered with white stones. Overnight at Kalo Seto Kunda.
Day 11: Rest day We will have a day rest day or you can enjoy trip around Kalo Seto Kunda. From here you can take pleasure in the superb views of Paldor Himal, Ganesh Himal and many others. Overnight at Kalo Seto Kunda.
Day 12: Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka Begin to walk from Ganesh Himal Base Camp to reach Rajgang Kharka and it takes around 6 hours. You trek all along the fall and narrow track where you discover alpine grass on both sides. Overnight at Rajgang Kharka.
Day 13: Rajgang Kharka to Chalise Walking ahead from Rajgang Kharka, it takes around 6 hours to arrive at Chalise (2000m.) The path shifts down all the way to Chalise. You will pass via forests till Hindung and traversing it you discover a few Tamang villages. Overnight at Chalise.
Day 14: Chalise to Jharlang Taking approximately 8 hours we will walk from Chalise to reach Jharlang. Arriving at small edge, you can take joy in amazing view of Ganesh Himal, waterfall, farming terraces and several settlements at a distance. Now, you descend downward the edge and cross terraces and few villages. Our trail moves down and mounting to Jharlang, a Tamang settlement with its mixed culture. Overnight at Jharlang.
Day 15: Jharlang to Darkha It takes around 7 hours to reach Darkha leaving Jharlang. Passing via the landslide close Jharlang, you start walking through way up trail with views of Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, jungle, farming terraces, waterfall and villages. Darkha, the Brahmin village bestows the view of Aankhu River at some space.
Day 16: Darkha to Khahare Bazaar Trekking from Darkha, we will move to Khahare Bazaar taking around seven hours. We go up to Darkha Phedi and the trail heads all along the river shore until you arrive at Khahare. There is a huge market at Khahare Bazaar with tea shops, big school, lodges etc. This spot is well-known for superb views of farming terraces. Overnight at Khahare Bazaar.
Day 17: Khahare Bazaar to Kathmandu It takes about 8 hours driving from Khahare Bazaar to arrive at Kathmandu by bus. Unless you reach Dhading Besi we move all the way through unpaved road and then go along the well paved highway until you arrive at Kathmandu. This picturesque journey of striking views of rivers, terraces, hills, forests and villages will be memorable.
Day 18: Final Departure Our journey comes to an end on 18th day. Our agent will escort us to the airport and offer farewell greetings.
